     We would like to welcome you to the 2010, 7-D Ranch Production Sale. Each year, we look forward to seeing familiar faces and introducing new ones to our program. We have retained our fundamental goal since our entry into this business – to produce the highest quality Angus genetics that will enhance your program and your bottom line. Our family has worked year round to accomplish this significant goal.
     The increased demand for Angus cattle, and the progress and growth of superior genetics, are solid proof that registered breeders and the American Angus Association have been hard at work perfecting their product. This includes studying performance data, analyzing markets, and consulting industry experts. Programs such as “Angus Source” have helped breeders around the world bring more value to the Angus breed.
     We believe that genetic change is the result of a planned breeding program. We use Artificial Insemination (AI) to maximize the genetic impact of elite bulls and females. We rely on Expected Progeny Differences (EPD’s), individual performance, and visual appraisal for the selection of each bull in our sale.
     All of the bulls have passed a breeding soundness test, been PI tested, and have undergone an ultrasound to give you the most information and the best bull possible. We have a zero-tolerance policy when dealing with bad dispositions. This gives you additional confidence when making your purchase on sale day.
     When buying a bull from the 7-D Ranch, you are also purchasing a program that stands behind its genetics and produces cattle that optimize and balance traits of economic importance to commercial cattlemen in today’s Angus breed. The bulls in this sale will compliment the quality and genetics of any cowherd.
     This year’s heifer pairs are top quality. We raised Lots 1-5, AI bred them, ran them for a year and then calved them for you.These pairs will be sold in lots of 10. As always, we stand behind these pairs 100%.
